About

Scarlett Leather - An artisan’s tale...

Hello, my name is Heidi and I am the owner and creator at Scarlett Leather. I have always loved creating unique pieces of jewelry - starting with embroidery floss bracelets when I was 9 yrs old (which I sold to friends for 0.25 cents) to personalized collars for my pets. The idea behind Scarlett Leather came years later in 2014 after my first daughter was born - Josie Scarlett.
I purchased my own white leather wrap to wear to my wedding and I quickly fell in love with all things #bohochic - I find bohemian style jewelry so beautiful and free spirited - specifically beautiful wrap bracelets and layered necklaces. I wanted to have so many more in my personal collection but couldn’t find quite exactly what I was looking for, so I quickly took the creative process into my own hands. I worked hard creating my own unique style infusing knots I learned in the Canadian Naval Reserve as well as hand picked beads to suit every piece.
Family and friends began putting in orders and from there Scarlett Leather was born, a handmade business from my home specializing in genuine leather wrap bracelets. In addition I also create hand knotted mala necklaces and stack bracelets on stretchy cord.
I am always up for a challenge so creating custom orders is my specialty - my true passion for handmade work lives on through the pieces I create and when I see them being worn I am thrilled!
Contact me with any questions and I would be happy to answer.
Happy shopping & thank you for all your support!
Heidi

Product Care

All Scarlett Leather pieces are created from my home in Buckhorn, ON Canada.  Each piece has a skilled process of creation from hand selected gemstones & crystals, colour combination planning and intricate beadwork and knotting.  It is important to take the best care of your Scarlett Leather piece to ensure it lasts a long time.  This includes:

-Avoid contact with water, perfumes & sprays (leather pieces) make your piece the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off.

-Spot clean with a damp cloth as needed, store in pouch (bracelets) or hung up (necklaces) when not in use.

-For wrap bracelets, you can trim the tail with scissors 1/2" from the last knot as needed.
